[This is part 10 in a series on the “fear of the lord” in the scriptures. See part one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine]

As we have already discussed, so-called “governments”—that is, legal systems of plunder erected by men for the purpose of robbery and enslavement—use fear in order to rule over people and get them to submit to their schemes. Out of fear of losing your home, car, job, family, or other things which the State has turned into “privileges,“ men obey their masters. Out of fear of alleged foreign invasion or lawlessness in the streets, men cling to militaries and police officers for protection. Out of fear of losing their jobs, they give into mass-vaccination schemes perpetrated by the elites and obey the edicts of “public health” officials. Out of fear of being jailed or having your kids stolen from you by “child protective” agents, parents sell-out their kids to government schools. Thus, fear is a main tactic used by the rulers to whip the cattle into line.
But all of this is far from fearing the Lord. We may even suggest that fearing these institutions of men—especially to the point that you have submitted to them as the truth—is a satanic deception. We know this because this fear is not of the Lord.
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control” (2 Timothy 1:7).
When men fear men and their political schemes, they are giving in to the temptations of the devil to succumb to anxieties and hopelessness. Those in Christ should feel peace, knowing that He is going to be with us against these terribly evil people. As Jesus said,
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid” (John 14:27).
To not fear men is thus very important to the Christian life, and even society as a whole, given that the fear-of-men leads to these tyrannical systems we’re living under today. To lack this spirit of fear-of-men, which is really only understood by Christian anarchists who want nothing to do with the kingdoms of men, is more or less the proof that we are in Christ.
“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’ The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him” (Romans 8:14-17).
When men refuse to fear men, such that they see no need to do things like vote on new masters and try to influence or reform the Babylonian system, they show that their faith is in the Lord. When men are so worried about what will happen to them if they don’t involve themselves in political systems, heap praise upon false heroes like the military or police, or perfectly obey all the edicts of men, they prove themselves to essentially be atheists who do not trust that the Lord is active in our lives and our world. They involve themselves in the kingdoms of the world as if God is not Sovereign anymore.
God-fearing men have no fear of the kingdoms of men, and want nothing to do with them. They don’t think that we must be engaged politically if something is to be done about our world. But man-fearing men, who are scared of what the systems of men might do if they don’t attempt to be involved in them, have no fear of the Lord, and they do everything in their power to raise up political control systems and attempt to steer the world through their own wills.
God-fearing men won’t be seen at the voting booths of the State, because anyone appealing to these altars is not a God-fearing man. The voting booths, the political rallies, the party offices, etc., are occupied by man-fearers who have gone astray from the Lord.
