“That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government…”
The “true patriot” is the one who seeks to abolish government, not the one who clamors to save it. You might wish to waste time altering it, but how will we decide which way to alter it? Who best decides what the new government is? One person? Two? A simple majority? All? All of this, even though for the last several decades—if not since the founding—we’ve slowly devolved to our present state?
Voting doesn’t work. And it is not our duty as Christians to vote. Does a majority of people who agree have the right to rule over a minority of people who disagree? “I fear it’s too late.” But fear not. There is a solution. We can see that when it says we have the Right to abolish government, we see that even our founding documents support Anarchism.
What is “Anarchism?” Simply put, Anarchism is the abolishment of all forms of illegitimate authority/government. With or without documents expressing this Right, we still have that Right because the Right is inborn, granted by The Creator at our conception. We are Natural Born Anarchists. Many are blind to it. They want to revive a corpse; we wish to bury it.
The only legitimate form of government
The best, most humanitarian and efficient form of “government” on earth is oneself and then the family. From there, whoever might voluntarily and peacefully associate with you. Anything else on earth will at once become an abomination.
But let’s not forget the Supreme Authority, which is The Creator, entirely Legitimate (He made all things). Besides His rule, He has delegated Individual Responsibility, the Family Structure, and Voluntary Neighborship, all intended to be governed by Love. There are no other forms of Legitimate Government. There can’t be.
If you don’t know, these words quoted at the start are found in the Declaration of Independence. What is the independence from? all systems of tyranny. What’s the duty? to declare independence from it and to act thereupon. Whose duty? the people, but firstly the Individual. When is this duty to be acted upon? immediately, upon first sight of smoke — where there’s smoke there’s fire.
The fallacy of reformism
Let’s suppose that the “insurrectionists” of January 6, 2021, determined in their minds that the government we have was sufficiently corrupted enough for them to storm those gates. According to the founding document, they were Right to do so. They operated within that framework, didn’t they? and under the Right to assemble and the Right to bear arms. “I wasn’t there, so I’m speculating.” (I will show how, in reality, they were never true Revolutionaries but were, rather, violent Useful Idiots of The State). But in our example, for the sake of argument, it would follow that whoever would seek to suppress those actions is a Tyrant, thus proving that the government does indeed need altering or abolishment. (I say abolishment; those protesters wanted mere altering, not abolishment: “We want Trump, not Biden!”).
To remain unbiased, I would say that the “progressives” have that Right, but they neither have the brains nor courage to realize this. Those who do try to exercise that Right still want to install their Candidate — a small, impotent fix compared to abolition. They are just as short-sighted as their Republican/ Conservative opponents.
I’ve already noted that their change isn’t real change. They’re only trying to cobble together something that needs to be destroyed. So their Revolutions aren’t Revolutions at all. They only want new Caesars. I want none.
We see people taping together shredded pieces of paper and holding them up as the weak idol it is. In other words, the only real aim of citizens of this country—in all political parties—today is to salvage something we all agree is corrupted and shattered. But we’ve been given the Right to shatter it. Where is this Right derived? Our history tells us 1776 or some other meaningless date as if when a man wrote something matters as if they invented Freedom and gave it to us. People have forgotten to look within (Luke 17:21).
The irony is that people continue to wait for a Right to be restored upon them, as they see it, from some representative, forgetting the Right was already bestowed at conception. An even sadder irony is that people are too distracted to know what power they have. They’ve grown duller and duller since those words were penned.
Liberty comes from God
The Right isn’t given to us by magistrates, nor need it be enshrined on aging parchment (what’s the use when the words are forgotten?), or even ourselves. We must realize that the true form of government begins when one realizes they need none other than the form of government already given to them by God. Once we dispense with the idol we have in our hearts, and declare true independence from these man tyrants, we can truly be free.
The abolition of all tyranny and corruption begins in one’s heart and mind. As Jesus said, “First cleanse the inside of the cup so that the outside may be clean also” (Matthew 23:26).
We have a nation of dull idolaters attempting to polish the outside of a filthy cup with filthy, moth-eaten rags. This is why we never see true change, true community, true freedom, and the dismantling of our overlords. We keep looking at the Paper rather than past it, upwards, to God. God is before the Paper. But the “patriot” has been trained to forget God and to focus on the Paper, so much so that more and more Paper is required to justify, amend, and perpetuate what they imagine to be “true democracy,” “true freedom.”
There are more Papers in our nation outlining and delineating what we can and can’t think, say, and do than there are in all of what’s called Scripture. And if we focus only on the Ten Commandments and Jesus’ Teachings, we find significantly fewer laws, albeit more practical and powerful. These pure laws exist not on Paper first but in our hearts and minds if only we seek to humble ourselves to them.
The real revolution of spiritual regeneration
Returning to the ideas of altering and abolishing government, the Revolution I speak of needn’t be done with The Sword, because that’s a tool of the State. God forbid that I should advocate the killing of even my enemy. I want them to be free just as much as myself. I don’t even wish to compel people to worship The Creator. Not by force. Every person must truly be free because that is how God intended it — we have a will.
“Choose you this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah” (Joshua 24:15). Idolatrous people choose mortals. The truest and only Rule people of conscience can agree on is this: “Do unto others even as you want them to do unto you” (Luke 6:31). Only a fool, a tyrant, and a bootlicker would spurn Jesus’ words given from The Father. Why hate such a glorious source of mercy and freedom?
The Anarchist—no matter how secular—agrees, saying, “Don’t hurt others; Don’t take their property.” We can agree to disagree on whether there is a God or not. But we shouldn’t tyrannize each other over the issue. You go your way; I’ll go mine. Peace be with you. The battle is of the mind and heart. It’s first, and always, done by understanding that The Kingdom of God—true freedom—is within you. But if you don’t have the eyes to see or ears to hear that simple truth, you will always be shackled to your petty Paper gods, or another false god called “Self.” You will always cry, “Give us Barabbas!” It’s always the criminal, common or elite, that people want, isn’t it?
Following God rather than men
The greatest irony is that before the ink dried on the paper, men were already shackled to a system that would grow into one of the most dangerous and hateful systems of government since Rome, or the King they supposedly declared independence from.
Once the battles ended and the quills were put away, men at once forgot the True Source of Freedom and sold their posterity and souls to Pharaoh for fear of an imagined famine. Soil became more worthy of devotion than The One Who Created it. Nationalism was born; to the people, the Founding Elites/Priests said, “These be thy gods that brought ye out of the land of England. Tomorrow is a feast unto AMERICA!” They forgot “the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery” (Exodus 20:2).
Tear down your idols
Do you want an Exodus? Your civic duty is to crumple the Paper gods, burn them, and follow Christ. If you crumple the Paper gods but don’t follow Christ, then I still love you. You are still better off than those whose hearts are still in Egypt, toiling for a Pharaoh. But you still have an idol in your heart.
But if you ask your gods The State or The Church about this matter, you must submit to them. You can’t make me.
