There is a great, undeniable contrast between trusting in God versus human rulers for protection. Those who trust in God should follow the biblical concept of relying on God for deliverance from oppressive systems and reject the idea of trusting in human governments for salvation from perceived enemies.

Contrary to popular opinion, statism is a system of enslavement of humanity. To ever near towards breaking out of it, men need to acknowledge their captivity and turn back toward God, who through His word gives us divine guidance on avoiding such societies and the inherent violence and corruption they bring. Men will have to repent of their false gods to find true liberty.

There is a spiritual shift from reliance on state systems to a trust in God for freedom and protection that men must undergo if they are ever to get out of Egyptian bondage. Using the narrative of Moses’s escape from Egypt, we can reflect on how true liberty does not come from any political system, but from faith in God’s deliverance and reverence for His power.

Governments use false prophets to propagate official narratives of prosperity and security. Their job is to spread lies about the state’s benevolence and efficiency, and to silence the negative impacts that result from their practices of violence, crime, and deliberate social inequality. We must align ourselves with the biblical prophets if we are to understand the truth as revealed by God.

Human governments are not necessary for social order and prosperity, but are tools of judgment from God due to men’s sinful reliance on them. As part of the punishment for rebelling against God, governments bring about violence and oppression. These evils ideally show men the need to turn away from reliance on government and back to God.

There are great challenges of sharing God’s word in a secular world filled with idolaters and statists. There is both a risk and necessity of speaking out. We should seek God’s protection while having an unwavering commitment to spreading God’s word despite potential persecution.

Idolatry and wickedness is very prevalent in our society, which is greatly manifest in the sin of statism. We know this invites God’s judgment against a people. But if we can spare our society and people from disaster, it should be our preferred option. Considering how foolish our people are, we should refrain from wishing destruction upon others and instead encourage them to turn from their wicked ways. States are not God’s way of establishing social order, but rather His means of executing judgment on societies that have established and uphold such structures. These man-made political systems are inherently corrupt and violent and thus inherently contrary to God’s commandments.God prefers familial organizations, centered around patriarchal order, and any shift away from this structure is a rebellion against God, inviting judgment.

Contrary to the mainstream American perceptions of the government as a protector, we are living in a statist slave society that, through tricking people into glorifying these false gods, has ensnared millions into a system of legal plunder that they cannot even recognize, much less see their way out of it.

There are great social implications of the choice between fearing God or fearing men. Men who truly fear God trust in the Lord for protection and social order rather than human institutions. Men who lack faith in God are steered toward statist slavery.

Fearing God doesn’t imply complying with an arbitrary command, but understanding and respecting God’s doctrines that warn societies against the consequences of their defiant behaviors. There are great social ramifications for disobeying God’s instruction and social law, as we should see today, and God-fearing people must reject idolatrous societal systems and choose God’s ways if they want to avoid them.

It is not hard for the Christian to challenge the common perception that everyone who’s incarcerated is a bad guy who did something wrong. Biblical examples abound of persecutions of men who never lifted a finger to hurt anyone. Yet even professed Christians often have a great readiness to believe these lies spread by statists.

To trust in “governments” and their militaries for protection is not only to abandon God as our protector, but leads to an insecure plunder society that extorts its people and keeps them in bondage. Only God provides true protection. Seeking security in human institutions leads to slavery.

Taxation is not essential to civilization, but is a tool of political robbery and a sign of a people who have forsaken God. Tax slavery is nothing less than proof that men have trusted in political systems as their “gods” and “saviors” rather than the Lord God.

To have God as your God means to trust in Him for all things, including protection from enemies. To turn to men for protection and military aid is to trust in man-gods that don’t save.

Governments use fear to expand control and power. The events in our world, whether real or manufactured, have been utilized to justify increased government intervention and reduction of individual liberties. True faith in God is the only real way to prevent such political manipulation and avoid the lies of these rulers and the consequences of more political power.

The State, as opposed to a voluntaryist society guided by God’s ethical principles, is a predatory agency that coerces property from the populations is has come to rule. It is marked by robbery, violence, and slavery, and impedes on God’s natural order, which is defined by peace, productive exchange, and voluntary association. A return to God’s kingdom requires the rejection of statist societies.

Isaiah 10 encourages Christians to rely solely on God’s will in daily life, as opposed to societal or governmental structures. It shows the consequences for arrogance and pride and the importance of humility. Christians are urged to rekindle their faith, particularly during challenging times, recognizing God’s punishment of unjust ruling systems and His commitment to justice. The text further exhorts believers to remain hopeful and faithful in God’s eventual restoration and triumph over the kingdoms of men.

We ought to chose spiritual wisdom over material wealth when these are the choices, for far too many men are willing to make moral compromises in pursuit of riches within a statist system. We ought to follow instead the Biblical teaching that righteousness surpasses wealth.

When Christians sing national anthems and other patriotic songs, they are praising man-made states as deities. Our worship should only be directed to God, and not merely for His divine status, but also as a deliverer from the oppressive Egyptian systems of our world.

Human kings are often perceived to be a part of God’s prescriptive will on earth. But human rulership is arguably incorrectly understood as being under God’s mandate. These earthly governments are contradictory to the Christian belief in the Lord as the sole “King of kings” and “Lord of lords.” Their existence points to a reliance on man-made systems instead of pure faith in God. In fact, they are based in sin and idolatry of earthly leaders.

Just as the scriptures predict will happen every time, Babylon is falling apart today, and we have a duty to show people why and how and get them prepared.

What does it mean to “love your neighbor”? And is this commandment fulfilled in supporting the State? Or when men choose the voluntary means of charity?

Most people don’t even see the Babylonian society, much less that this whoredom is failing to deliver its promises anymore. But those who see it ought to be warning others and organizing.

Are we forgetting about the general sins of one’s personal life to emphasize statism? It is probably better to conceive of statism as sin manifested on a large scale.

We have a duty to God to courageously tell others about His word and His judgment that He brings upon men who are full of idolatries, violence, and plunder.

Should Christians be singing songs for Egypt? Such a question would seem to be no light matter given that the Lord wants us to sing our song for him just as much as Pharaohs are always attempting to trick men into singing their song.

There are two choices one can follow concerning the idea of maintaining their liberties and avoiding political slavery: They can follow God, and live freely and trust in His protection, or they can follow men, and end up in bondage and chains.

The masses’ general understanding of the political situation before us is much different than that of the prophets. They think that governments bring freedom and prosperity, whereas the prophets teach that it brings slavery and destruction.

What do States have to do to rob people, given that men are generally opposed to robbery?

Should Christians celebrate the Fourth of July given all the idolatry and statism that goes on?
