As discussed in previous articles, if men are not willing to see that their adultery with the kingdoms of the world has them living in sin and the consequent bondage of sin, they will never be willing to repent of the iniquity of statism that led to their captivity and will only ever continue thinking and acting like Babylonian whores who prostitute themselves out to human rulers and their armies, lawmakers, and law enforcers for a falsely promised peace, freedom, prosperity, and order that never arrives yet always somehow remains the undying hope of these idolaters, who never cease to believe that such things can be obtained through the wicked political means of the world, despite all evidence to the contrary that they are under judgment for having sought law and justice through human government.
One means of keeping men from seeing that their statist ways have been sinful and are the main cause of their political bondage under human governments has been for men to operate under a diluted and vague idea of sin and repentance that apparently has nothing to do with the wicked thoughts and deeds of desiring human rulers and putting them into office each time Babylon runs an election of false gods who come along with promises of prosperity and freedom in exchange for vows (votes) of faith and fidelity in their rule.
This corruption of core Christian concepts which works to keep man’s worldly political pursuits from being seen as antagonistic to their professed faith and trust in God alone is often achieved quite naturally by individuals never taking the scriptures seriously on their own and realizing that mankind’s whoredom for kings and armies has always represented their great turn away from God and His Kingdom. It is never strictly necessary for men to fall under the sway of propagandists and false prophets to believe in lies and fall into idolatry; they are quite capable of this on their own.
The false prophets of statism
Yet in the rare case that men might come around to seeing the anarchistic nature of God’s Kingdom on their own and thereafter discovering that the statist ideology and practices of the world are the very Biblical sins of idolatry, covetousness, and raising up false gods against the commands of the Lord our God, it was always necessary for the false pastors, prophets, and philosophers of the churches, seminaries, universities, and governments of the world to stand prepared to squash and thwart any awakening in men to their own sin and subsequent bondage, so that they never actually repent and turn another way.
The greatest risk to human rulers and their governments around the world and throughout history has always been that individual men privately reading their Bibles may soon realize they are holding God’s anarchist manifesto against the kingdoms of men and that His kingship, to which they are now being called to pledge their allegiance, is an exclusionary one that cannot be reconciled with pledging any faith, fidelity, and support for these man-made systems. Though things have mostly always worked in their favor and very few men have come to these conclusions, not to mention the millions of idolaters who came to opposite conclusions and reconcile their patriotism and love of the world with God, nevertheless the threat is always there, and scripture in itself holds the potential to wake men up and cause them to realize—contra the teachings of the institutionaliststs—that they have been living like Romans rather than Christians and are actually captives in Egypt rather than freemen in a “free country,” and what is more, that they have found themselves living under this political bondage as a consequence of their own sins. Since it has always been possible that men would read their Bibles on their own and that God himself would wake men up in its pages to the reality that they are living in an Egyptian police state society for their own sins, it was always necessary for the evil statists of the world to send out false prophets who would work to make men believe that the opposite is the case: that God approves of their Babylonian ways and that their backward, corrupt, and evil statist society is actually a “Christian” one.
As such, mainstream Christianity (so-called) has always been filled with these men, from the most prominent celebrity theologians who everyone knows to the neighborhood “pastor” on your street corner who promotes the wicked ideology and practices of statism as the alleged politics and ways of Jesus Christ. In this way, men would be kept in the dark about the true nature of Christianity as an anarchistic gospel that rivals the political promises of false gods and stands directly opposed to the kingdoms of the world, which in turn are enemies of God’s Kingdom. They would struggle to see that God hates statism and would be contained as men who were never able to rise above regurgitating the official interpretations and teachings of these men at the top, who always worked to make men believe that God approves of their Babylonian-statists ways when they were, in fact, the most detestable thing about men and undoubtedly one of the reasons that God himself regretted having made them (Genesis 6:5-6). Hence the endless and tiresome citation of “Romans 13” as an end-all, be-all verse by a seemingly inexhaustible supply of reprobate idolaters who come out of the woodwork to defend the devil’s government while adding to their sins the claim of being Christians. By controlling the teachings of this watered-down and downright false version of Christianity that openly and unashamedly approves of the kingdoms of the world and promotes them as God-given institutions for law and order, the wicked rulers of the world and the evil one who is behind them have been able to keep men from the truth and consequently keep them in the political slavery that comes upon those who lack the knowledge that statism is sin and that this sin leads to bondage. As one prophet said, “my people have gone into captivity from lack of knowledge” (Isaiah 5:13).
Though men do not struggle to fool themselves and believe in lies, the deceivers of the world—from the men in the so-called churches to those who operate so-called governments—have always worked to seal the deal by presenting the pure religion of Christianity, which if truly practiced would abolish the kingdoms of man, as nothing more than a spiritual belief system regarding the salvation of souls, so that men are able to neatly classify their otherwise sinful political ideas and practices as being outside the realm of religious ideas altogether and falling into the supposedly separate category of “politics.” They have either failed to tell men that statism is sin, which makes them guilty by omission, or they have overtly taught men that it is their duty to participate in the Babylonian systems of the world, which makes them guilty by commission. At any rate, they have not told men that true repentance entails turning away from the sins of statism — that men who are truly turning from their sin are men who are renouncing both their mere belief in human rulers as well as any active support or service to these evil systems of government. By either failing to teach men the truth that statism is sin, or by overtly teaching them their Egyptian ways have received God’s stamp of approval, the false prophets who unfortunately represent “Christianity” before the masses have thereby worked to keep men going on about their wicked works and living in the bondage of Egypt as a result.
Though men are more than capable of believing in lies on their own, it has largely been under the heavy sway of many of false prophets, pastors, priests, professors, theologians, intellectuals, and others who men look to as the authorities on the word of God, that men have failed to see the sins of the statism, the consequent bondage they have fallen under, or the urgent need to repent of these sins and trust in the Lord alone again if they wish to be liberated from this divine judgment of human rule that can only come upon unrepentant sinners. Whether these false prophets of a false Christianity worked by failing to show men that statism is sin—a case which we can grant given the prevalence of the blind leading the blind—or by overtly encouraging their participation in the wicked works of worldly politics and ideology, the end-result has been the same: these men have kept the masses living in the bondage of Egypt by keeping them from the truth. As one prophetic book puts it,
“The visions of your prophets were empty and deceptive; they did not expose your guilt to ward off your captivity. The burdens they envisioned for you were empty and misleading” (Lamentations 2:14).
As much as we may take interest in the motivations of the men who present themselves as pastors, prophets, or shepherds and teachers otherwise of men who are interested in the Christian faith, so that we may judge whether they are ignorant themselves or downright malicious men who knowingly lead the sheep to slaughter, it hardly makes a difference whether these men are able to lead tens of millions of people away from seeking God’s Kingdom by positively encouraging them to partake in the Babylonian politics of the world as false prophets who deliberately and knowingly work to deceive others and defend the governments of the devil, or as blind men who simply fail to expose to men their guilt which could have warded off their captivity because they were blind too and didn’t know any better. Either way, the failure of men to pursue God’s Kingdom as an altogether separate social order that is set apart from statist kingdoms of the world was achieved: men were either sitting in pews and failing to seek the Kingdom of God, or they were out lining up in Babylon’s voting booths expressly working to further a kingdom that was at enmity with it.
Sin and repentance
Though we have already covered the scheme of diluting essential Christian concepts as a important means by which false prophets keep the sheep confined in pews and voting booths rather than seeking the Kingdom of God on their own, here we will reiterate these issues as they pertain more specifically to the problems of sin and repentance, which have everything to do with mankind’s political whoredom and their need to turn from it.
It is in the interest of leading men to true repentance—to leave Egypt in their minds and deeds—that we must dwell for so long on the worldly political beliefs and acts of men as defining of their rebellion against God. We can hardly talk about repentance if we have not discussed sin and shown the statist ideology and acts of the people of the world to be representative of one of its main forms. If statism is not recognized as sin, or if man’s “sins” are reduced to relatively benign or wholly irrelevant acts like lying to your grandmother or sneaking a puff of mom’s cigarette in the woods, then men will never abandon the wicked political course that stands as the greatest and most consequential and disastrous expression of their rebellion against God.
Moreover, if men will not recognize their statist political ideology and acts to be the foremost examples of their sin and rebellion against God’s anarchistic natural order, then they will never get out of their political bondage either, because the bondage that human rulers inevitably bring upon men has come precisely for the very sins of seeking human rulers at all, whose evils God has used as a judgment against them for the purpose of teaching men a lesson in the social effects that come upon those who forsake the Lord as their King and who, in all their hardheadedness and stubborn refusal to heed the previous rebukes of the Lord, must now find out the hard way that the price men pay for abandoning the Lord is to find themselves dominated by men, whose destruction of society is evidently what it takes to get them to turn back to the godly path that they turned from by turning towards Egypts and Romes instead. If men never see that their rebellious pursuit of human rulers or their desire for positions of power themselves have been sinful and rebellious, they will never see that they have been the cause for their judgment.
Repentance is not apathetic
The problem today is that the false version of “Christianity” taught in the so-called churches either does not specify the political whoredom of men as a primary example of the sins which they need to turn from, thereby working deceit through keeping them from the truth, or that these false prophets actively and deliberately encourage men to continue in these sins of supporting human governments and entering the voting booths of Babylon next election season. Despite the fact that repenting of these sins is the only way out of the Egyptian bondage that we have found ourselves living under, these false prophets of a false Christianity have twisted the truth even further and amazingly equate these acts of repentance as amounting to apathy and slothfulness! They teach men that the very things they need to do to get out of Egypt—namely, to repent of begging Pharaoh and his lawmakers to “protect and serve” them and turning away from the political ideology and practices of the world—is actually a failure to do good works, bear fruit, and secure a Christian society for your people! They claim, in effect, that it is not worth it to repent and seek the Kingdom of God alone! They teach men that God would apparently not serve us if only we would serve Him, despite Jesus teaching that “all other things would be added” unto those men who would simply begin to seek His Kingdom. Men are told that repenting for their sins, i.e., turning away from the wicked political path of the world, is to be “apathetic” and “slothful” to seek God’s Kingdom, when this is true precisely of their own iniquitous acts like voting and advancing worldly kingdoms that are to be abolished rather than reformed.
Though what we need today are men who turn away from their worldly political belief and support for the inherently wicked systems of human civil government and refusing to serve them any longer, the credentialed hirelings of the institutional churches and theological seminaries either fail to teach men that they must repent from their statism or positively endorse such wicked behavior like voting men into political office or running for that office yourself as one’s “civic duty” as a “Christian.” They tell men that unless they continue in their evildoing like voting or seeking political power, they will be ruled by evil men, despite Biblical causality running in precisely the opposite direction: that they are ruled by men because of these very wicked beliefs and works of theirs, and that these men exist as a judgment against them rather than the supposedly God-given defenders of their law, justice, and liberty, which were always rebelliously outsourced to authoritarians in man’s slothfulness to protect and serve His own neighbors.
To compound all the errors that men are able to come up with on their own, without any misguidance from the propagandists and institutionalists of the world who are more supplemental to man’s sin than central to his deception, the mainstream teachings of what passes for Christianity have always been dominated by false prophets who are able to lead men further down a path of destruction and further away from the path of divine liberation from the bondage of Egypt, which has been the very role they have served as both witting and unwitting ideologues of the devil’s governments: to defend the evil governments of the world as “God-given” and to keep people enslaved to these systems by making them believe they are blessed men living in a “free country” due to their righteous ways. rather than cursed men living as captives in Egypt due to their sin. Hence why they effectively tell men that turning away from sins like voting and supporting human governments would actually bring disaster rather than liberation. Hence why only a tiny fraction of Christians have ever come to see that the only valid Christian politics is an anarchist politics that rejects the kingdoms of the world as ungodly and contrary to the Lord’s ways and exclusive kingship. Rather than call upon men to do the one thing that would alleviate the social-ills they complain about on the one hand, which can only be found by leading men to repent of their support for worldly governments and seeking the Kingdom of God exclusively, the false prophets of the statist religion, who have no faith in the Lord despite taking His name in vain, instead call upon the people who are pathetically under their influence to remain in their sins and continue on in their wicked statist ways, under lame, faithless, and ungodly excuses like the fact that other men are engaged in the evildoing of seeking political power, which supposedly requires our participation in the same.
The solution of sin and repentance
In order to present a better picture of true repentance as something that entails men turning away from their belief in human civil governments and their desire to support and serve them, it is necessary to show some of the ways that the wolves among us (who, to be sure, were dressed in sheep’s clothing) have perverted the teachings of God into being supposedly compatible with the worldly ideology of statism that they devilishly sought to promote, or at the very least not directly contradictory to the faith. As we have already shown, one of the main ways these false prophets of official Christianity have managed to work their deceptions upon the professing Christian masses, who have often known no better than what they teach, has been to water-down essential concepts like sin and repentance in a way that it does not include their statist political ideology and practices. By doing this, they allow men to continue living, thinking, and acting like Egyptians and Romans and continue in all the very acts of sin and rebellion (like raising up human rulers or believing in them whatever) that actually characterize man’s rebellion against God. Hence why there are tens of millions of professing Christians in America who will claim that they are “saved” and have “repented of my sins” all while they are still voting for presidents to order their societies for them and bring a peace, prosperity, and order that the Lord rightly tells us can only exist in His Kingdom order, which is not of this world and its systems but is formed and furthered outside of them altogether.
It has been under this widespread acceptance and dissemination of diluted Christian concepts that never really convict men of the sins inherent to statism that the men who profess to be Christians have always failed to make any progress getting off the political slave plantation they have found themselves living on for their own sins of idolatry, covetousness, or the failure to seek God’s Kingdom otherwise. For if the conception of sin and rebellion against God does not include a man’s ideological and physical support for the kingdoms of the world, whether as its theoretical champions or as the men who enlist in its armies and police forces, then these man-made political plunder systems are fine by God and may even be actively sought and praised as God-given institutions that are comprised of men who we may safely regard as “heroes” and “freedom fighters” and “public servants” who are doing “the Lord’s work,” all while they are actually serving the devil and have sold out to the evil path of the world. If the concept of repentance does not include turning away from the sins of raising up human rulers and supporting their systems in belief and practice, then men will never be convicted of these evils and will even see their political ideas and acts as perfectly compatible with their professed faith in the Lord, when these things are, in fact, the very things that legitimately mark a man as ungodly.
It has been under a great dilution of concepts like sin and repentance—whether as conceived by simpleminded men who never came to the truth on their own or as hatched by institutionalist deceivers from the high places of official interpretation—that the kingdoms of the world have been strengthened rather than beaten back in the hands of men who consider themselves Christians. It has been under the almost total failure to see statism as sin and Christian Anarchism as repentance that the kingdoms of the world have been advanced rather than abolished — that the Egyptian police state society is growing rather than in retreat. These ideas as conceived in mainstream Christian circles have always been the soft version of the real deal, so much that they failed to rebuke men at all and lead to any correction, save some meaningless concession of “our sins” that never entailed turning away from prostituting themselves out to kings, lawmakers, soldiers, and law enforcement officers for the ostensible defense, law, justice, protection, and bread that they promise to provide those who will pledge their allegiance to these systems of human government that exist as substitute gods for the Lord our King, Lawgiver, and Judge (Isaiah 33:22).
As we see, the vague approach to sin and repentance in modern Christianity has allowed men to remain in their sinful state of unrepentance rather than turn from it, precisely because it has never detailed the specific ways that men turn away from God, which they do namely by turning toward false gods to serve as their rulers and providers. Hence the reason why most professing Christians in America see no contradiction whatever in supporting “the troops,” “backing the blue,” or throwing their weight behind the next presidential candidate: no one ever told them that these things are the foremost ways the men show themselves to be ungodly men whose hearts are after the ways of the world rather than the ways of the Lord.
If men are ever to get to a point of repenting from their evildoing, we will have to first establish what the sins of men are so that they can even turn from them. Men will not turn from that which they do not believe is evil, and as it stands the consensus in modern Christianity is that human civil government have been given to us by God as one of the greatest divine gifts ever bestowed upon humanity: the means of having “law and order” and “national defense” in society. The truth, of course, is just the opposite: human governments were erected by sinners in their rebellion against God, are evil institutions that pervert law and justice, and are “God ordained” only in the sense that God allows them to exist as a judgment upon the wicked works that set them up.
The problem we face today is not only that men have come up short of the truth, but that they often believe the exact opposite of it. If men are to ever realize their errors and turn from them, they will have to first see that human governments are evil, that they have been erected and furthered by men in their sin and rebellion against God, that the inevitable evils that flow from them exist as a form of judgment against the wicked works of statism, and that repenting from this political rebellion and turning back to the Lord is the only means of getting out of this bondage. We must address these things and get men to see them if they are ever able to even come near to repentance. Men cannot turn to the good unless they know what has been the evil, and will only persist in calling the good of God’s anarchist Kingdom “evil” while calling the genuine evil of human government “good.” As it stands, they believe in the lies as taught by the false prophets of the world: that human governments were given to us by God for law and order rather than by man in his revolt against God, that they are good and non-evil rather than manifestly wicked, that people who live under them are blessed rather than cursed, and that they stand as God’s ideal and prescribed socio-political order rather than as perverted systems of law and justice that act as divine justice against the sinners who outsource these responsibilities to men.
By addressing the worldly path of statist ideology and politics as an ungodly one where men have gone astray from the Lord’s ways to seek protection, justice, welfare, and other benefits through the authoritarian and socialistic governments of men which operate at the expense of their neighbor’s property and liberty and which represent another religion altogether than the pure religion of Christ, we can then establish the exact course-correction that men need to make as being decidedly one that decisively abandons the violent and plunderous kingdoms of the men to instead seek the Kingdom of God alone in repentance.
